I’m passionate about understanding people – specifically about what triggers emotional behaviours & physical responses that are uniquely displayed when interactions are made within technology-driven & physical service channels.

CONNECT.

Connecting is what it is to be human.
Authentic memories through our experiences create our ability to find commonality with others.
As a designer, I find it imperative to build connections via developing relationships – to discover peoples’ needs.

CHALLENGE.

Respectfully questioning WHY is a vital part of understanding.
You can never ask WHY too many times.

Root-cause drives progress…
and a VISION helps shape it into something more meaningful.

As a designer, I’m constantly acknowledging how my perspectives affect how I make sense of things – WHY helps me do that, so I can baseline my thoughts.

We do our best creating when we know why we are creating in the first place.

CASE STUDY.

TRANSFORMATION.

A recent example of CHALLENGE was put to the test within a large British Telco, where the objective was to ‘create a new way of working’…that can stick and last the distance of enterprise transformation.

PROJECT

The intention of this programme is to deliver ‘standard IT services’ to a large British Telco and it’s six Lines Of Business (LOBs) and technology partners from a newly created organisation.

CREATE.

This is the FUN part of the innovative process – and almost everyone on your team will default to getting to the solution or answer immediately.

CASE STUDY.

CO-OPERATION BY RELIEVING FRICTION.

In August of 2018, four of Australia’s top Insurance entities came together for a 12 week journey into ‘exploration’ of the what-if of:

How might we combine skills, knowledge, leadership and pro-active-thinking in order to research and craft an approach that collectively solves the problem of citizens being able to claim their rightful share of compensation after a motor vehicle accident.

This kind of inter-industry-sector collaboration had never been attempted before in the history of design transformation projects.

* This 12 week project was under a tight non-disclosure agreement enforced by all parties and therefore required a communications embargo for the duration of the co-facilitated sessions.

SO, HOW COULD WE MAKE IT FUN?

Play.
The participants needed a mindset shift to successfully progress through the Ideation stage…into creating something of value…together.

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is an innovative process designed to enhance innovation and business performance. It was the perfect method to enable the business and customer teams to collectively articulate the serious nature of the motor vehicle claims process.

CHANGE.

As a change facilitator, I can be stubborn when it comes to this bit…particularly pushing the team to continue to explore and experiment upon ideas generated.

Therein lies the power of the VISION…

…it will continue to guide your thoughts and progress around finding the right thing.

Local Buy

Problem / Opportunity:
A strategic conceptual solution was required for the tendering and fulfilment process for local & state government.
Before any design or technical solution can be applied to such a complex number of scenarios, and understanding of the ecosystem (the actors and layers within multiple connections) was needed.

APPLICATION Development

MyVision

Vision Personal Training Fitness organisation, required an update / re-build of their ‘personal training app’ for their valued client base.

Vision Virtual Training app had already helped thousands of people reach their personal health and fitness goals, but engagement had reached a low…with 32% of clients NOT tracking their nutritional intake.

A million thankyou’s for all your efforts over the past 6 months in guiding us to base camp and then getting us fit for our DaVinci expedition. The energy and creativity you’ve brought to the team and our endeavour has been infectious and pivotal in getting the IT LT, SMT, design squads and broader team bought in.
