UX Marathon!

It’s on again! The annual UX marathon is organised by the UIDesign Group who cordially invite experienced and novice usability and UX specialists, interaction designers, developers, project managers, UX team leaders and managers of companies developing digital products and services to take part in UX Marathon 2010.

The event consists of a series of online webinars in usability and user experience. This year there are 11 presentations in English and 1 provided in Russian. The main theme for the presentations this year is the mobile interface.

If you are involved in any form of user, interaction and digital design, seriously consider attending at least one of the available webinar sessions available from Oct 25 – Nov 3, 2010.

What is an ‘experience strategy’?

In this post from Steve Baty (User Experience Strategist), a definition is formed around the following statement:

“An experience strategy is that collection of activities that an organization chooses to undertake to deliver a series of (positive, exceptional) interactions which, when taken together, constitute an (product or service) offering that is superior in some meaningful, hard-to-replicate way; that is unique, distinct & distinguishable from that available from a competitor.”
