What Is Mentorship?
Having individuals formally appointed as ‘mentors’ within your organisation sends a message to the team that you (and the supporters of the mentorship program) are serious about continually supporting them in all endeavours.
Who Is Mentorship For?
Mentorship is for everyone…individuals, less experienced, more experienced…who are seeking more formalised, structured methods of self-progression.
What does the mentorship process look like?
Embedding a mentorship program within an organisation requires a sequence of sessions and guided workshops, to ensure identified mentors & mentees are supported in their future relationship endeavours.
1. Onboarding
Participants learn more about the process of what makes a good mentor program as well as an introduction to the Loop mentorship platform.
2. Identifying mentor & mentee needs
- Identify goals
- Identify issues needing help or guidance
- Identify current and desired capabilities
3. Finding suitable mentors
Select a mentor with the right skill set, with ‘profile matching’ assistance.
4. Booking mentoring sessions
- Write objectives
- Select or request a suitable agreed date
5. First session
- Unpack objectives
- Reflect upon current state
- Plan follow-up actions
6. Self- guided Activities, Reflection and Preparation
- Complete activities
- Document & reflect upon activities
- Revisit objectives
- Book a second session
